Rural rotation done!

20130203-024619.jpg

Just finished up at the rural hospital.

Been a good rotation there despite the issues that have been happening before. I didn’t really run into much trouble myself though. There had been few skirmishes here and there but never a full blown war.

Met a few medical registrars who were locumming. Met a real interesting one, a part time doctor, professional photographer. Not just any professional, he’s at the very least rather well known in the region.

He runs a blog at http://www.magichourunplugged.com/

Should really check him out. Awesome photos. I am a like a total noob compared to his level. Seeing his photos also was what pushed me to get a better lens, the EFS 17-55mm f2.8 for my Canon 650D. A little wider and faster than the kit lens before deciding on what I really wanna do with my photography hobby.

Arrivederci
